Michelle Nover

Michelle Nover, is the Director of Administration at the Winchester Community Music School and the Director of the Preparatory Flute Choir at the Longy School of Music. She attended the State University of New York, College at Purchase receiving a BFA in Flute Performance where she studied with Thomas Nyfenger. Prior to relocating to the Great Boston area, Michelle maintained a large private flute studio, was on the faculty of the Hoff Barthelson Music School of Scarsdale, New York and was a concert auditor for the New York State Council of the Arts. She performed with the Westchester Symphony, the Norwalk Symphony, the Allegro Chamber Ensemble and Dal Segno Trio, of which she was founder. Additionally, she was the director of the Center Music School in Stamford, Connecticut. In the Greater Boston area she was formerly the Director of the Preparatory Studies Division of the Longy School of Music. She has performed on Longy's Bach's Lunch and Septemberfest series and with the Longy Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Singers. She has performed in a unique stage-show collaboration with professional Magician David Oliver and with the Jasmine Flute Trio.
