Rebecca M. Makara

Rebecca M. Makara (flute, alto flute, bass flute) received a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance and Instrumental Music Education from the Benjamin T. Rome School of Music, The Catholic University of America.  She recently completed  her Master of Music degree in Music Education with an emphasis on performance at the Boston Conservatory.  Her primary teachers include Leslie Hunt, Eleanor Lawrence, and Elinor Preble.  Rebecca has performed in masterclasses given by Bonita Boyd, Walfrid Kujala, and Robert Willoughby.  She is currently an instrumental music teacher in the towns of Northborough and Southborough, Massachusetts.
