Kimberly Arkin

Kimberly Arkin is pursuing a PhD in anthropology at the University of Chicago. A native of Orlando, Florida, she began playing the flute at age 10 and studied with Ellen Hinkle, a long-time student of Geoffrey Gilbert, for 8 years. She has subsequently studied with Julie Scolnik at the Longy School of Music and Susan Levitin at the Sherwood Conservatory in Chicago.  She considers herself extremely lucky to have the opportunity to play with a group of such kind and talented musicians.
